Producing detailed reports.

Can I produce a comprehensive list of entries from the Event Type column? For example, say "Fuel Purchases" was an Event Type, and I want to produce a list of every fuel purchase from January 1 to June 30, is there any way to produce such a report?

Sure. You can use Filter on the main Events tab:
1. Turn the filter on,
2. specify From/To dates,
3. switch off all Incomes, Expenses, Adjustments,
4. select single event type in the Expenses tree.
And you'll see like this:
